Al Habtoor One started its operations during the 80s to contribute to and be a part of the developing economy of the United Arab Emirates. Beginning in Dubai, Al Habtoor One. diversified into automobiles in the 90's and quickly set out to internationalize its operations. Al Habtoor One was one of the pioneers to enter and invest in the newly opened economies of the Caspian Region - The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) by establishing a branch in 1995 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Dealerships and joint ventures were established in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. Al Habtoor One was appointed distributor for Mitsubishi Motors for these states, which later on was transferred to Consolidated Automotive, one of Al Habtoor One's subsidiary companies.

Al Habtoor One has grown and developed with the UAE and is now internationally recognized through its Automobile distribution, Construction, Food & catering, and Travel & tourism. It is one of UAE's most successful & respected diversified business corporations operating across the Middle East and beyond.
